Dr. Neeharika Repaka
Dr. Repaka has lived most of her life in Virginia. She completed an internal medicine residency at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, and spent an additional year as chief resident. She then undertook an endocrinology fellowship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Repaka holds board certifications in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism and is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE). She stays up to date with the latest therapies and other innovations in the field of endocrinology, providing advanced treatments for patients at Vital Care Endocrinology.
Dr. Sahana Hundal
Dr. Sahana Hundal is a specialty care physician board-certified in endocrinology and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, thyroid conditions and a variety of other endocrine disorders. She has a special interest in implementing novel treatment methods in her practice to help patients with various endocrine disruptions to not only achieve good control of their disease, but also a good quality of life. She joins Vital Care Endocrinology with over 10 years of clinical experience. Most recently Dr. Hundal served as a medical officer at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the division of general endocrinology and prior to that she served as a community endocrinologist providing specialized care to patients in Reston.
Dr. Hundal completed her medical training in India at Yenepoya Medical School, following which she pursued an internal medicine residency at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hundal became interested in endocrinology because of her interest in the nutritional and environmental influences on the endocrine system which led her to seek a fellowship training in endocrinology at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Her goal is to help her patients focus on preventive measures that lead to fewer complications during care and result in better life-long outcomes for her patients.
